The SCELZI-FORD Truck Body of the Month for January 2021 is this 11 ft long Scelzi flatbed body with 36" steel stakes on a Ford F450. It includes aluminum flooring and Metallic Light Blue paint. What a beauty!
Scelzi Enterprises is now using A60 Galvanneal steel for over 90% of their painted steel components. This includes headboards and beds on flatbeds, toolboxes on service and contractor bodies and much more. Galvanneal steel is produced by hot dipping a sheet of steel into a zinc bath then passing it through a series of draining and heating processes so that a specified amount of zinc affixes or anneals to the steel, along with a small percentage of aluminum. A60 is the highest grade of galvanneal, with the highest zinc content, and provides superior paintability, weldability, corrosion resistance and formability. Scelzi Enterprises is continuously improving their processes and materials of construction for more than 40 years.
Scelzi Truck Bodies began our 41st year in business in 2020 by attending a number of national trade shows and events, including the International Builders Show, the World of Concrete, and the World Ag Expo Show in mid-February. Scelzi displayed a wide range of our premier truck bodies, including Dump Trucks, Water Trucks, Contractor Bodies, Welder Bodies, Crane Bodies, Flatbeds, and more.
Scelzi Enterprises formally kicked off the celebration of our 40th year in business at the World Ag Show (formerly Tulare Farm Show) on February 12-14, 2019, in Tulare. In addition to showing our latest truck body styles on new Ford, RAM, and Chevy chassis cabs, we also displayed our newest truck parts and optional accessories. Many more events are planned to celebrate throughout 2019 at dealer events and employee functions.
The World of Concrete is held in Las Vegas again this year (Jan 22-25) and once again a Scelzi work truck body will be highlighted. Stop by the Ford booth to see a Scelzi Super Contractor body, with more storage space and toolboxes than a typical Contractor Body, but with the same Scelzi Commitment to Great Quality.
Suburban Propane is one of the largest propane suppliers in the USA. They owe their success to some degree to the quality of their key suppliers -- such
as their truck body suppliers. Read why their Western Fleet Supervisor only buys Scelzi truck bodies in the latest issue of FordPros Magazine. https://goo.gl/iNUQxW
Hint: It's because of the Scelzi Quality!
Scelzi was proud to take part in the 38th Annual La Salle Days, held July 20-21 in La Salle, Colorado. The event celebrates the community of La Salle and this year included live music, a horseshoe tournament, and many other activities. The highlight was the La Salle Day Parade through downtown. A Scelzi Service Body was part of the Parade, driven by Regional Sales Manager Tom Pennington. Tom also threw out candy for the crowds that lined the streets. Next year Scelzi might bring one of our rugged Water Trucks to spray water on the hot crowd!
Scelzi Enterprises recently celebrated the First Anniversary of our assembly facility in La Salle, Colorado, just northeast of Denver. The 20,000 sq ft main building is located on 1.2 acres and is used to mount Scelzi truck bodies to chassis cabs from Ford, RAM, Chevy, Kenworth, and others. The finished trucks are sold through truck dealerships in the Mountain States region. The facility also serves our growing list of customers from the East coast with flatbed trucks, service truck bodies, welding trucks, water trucks, and many others. Congratulations to our growing team in Colorado!
Scelzi Enterprises was proud to take part in the 2018 Valley Made Manufacturing Summit in Fresno on May 17. As we continue to grow and expand our team of great employees, this was a great place to display the quality of our truck bodies and meet with prospective future employees. We have openings available for welders, assemblers, and several other positions, so tell a friend about Scelzi today and stop by to complete a job application. See our list of current openings.
Scelzi was proud to display a Combo truck body in the Ford booth at the NTEA Work Truck Show on March 7-8-9 in Indianapolis. The NTEA is the Association for the Work Truck industry, and the Work Truck Show is the largest gathering of work truck manufacturing companies in North America. We only wish we had room to show more of our top-of-the-line work truck bodies!
